Responsibilities:
Prepare tax returns for individuals, non-profits and businessesCreate and discuss tax planning scenarios with clientsMake final adjusting entries for business clients prior to preparing tax returnsReview the work of less experienced staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field requiredCPA license or Enrolled Agent certification preferredAt least five years of related experience (individual, corporate and partnership tax)Ag experience a plusDesire to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication & interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect & build relationships with clients, firm leadership and peersConfidence in professional aptitude & the ability to effectively convey skills, knowledge and qualifications to clientsExperience with Lacerte, QuickBooks & Microsoft Office a plus
